How Do I Access My Downloads?
After purchasing a downloadable product, you should receive an email containing access information and download instructions.
You can also access eligible downloads through your Start ASL account.
Purchases Made After April 2026
Log in to your Start ASL account. https://login.startasl.com
Visit your account dashboard.
Access your available downloads from your purchased products.
Purchases Made Before April 2026
Some older downloadable products may require manual access restoration.
If you purchased downloads before April 2026 and no longer have access, a member of our team may be able to assist after reviewing your purchase information.
My Download Links Say "Forbidden" or "Unauthorized"
This usually occurs when:
You are not logged in to your Start ASL account.
You are attempting to access download links directly.
You are opening an expired or copied download link outside of the Start ASL platform.
Try These Steps
Log in to your Start ASL account. https://login.startasl.com
Return to the original download page.
Access the download from within your account.
If the issue continues, additional account review may be required.
I Can't Access My Downloads
If you purchased downloadable products after April 2026 and cannot access them, a member of our team may be able to review your account and assist. If your purchase was made before April 2026, please be prepared to provide purchase information if available.

How Do I Open a PDF File?
PDF files can be opened using:

How Do I Open an HTML File?
HTML files are primarily used in the Offline Course and Teacher's Curriculum webpage version.
To open an HTML file:
Locate the file named index.html.
Double-click the file.
If it does not open:
Right-click the file.
Select Open With.
Choose your preferred web browser.
Select Always use this program if desired.

How Do I Open a ZIP File?
Many Start ASL downloads are delivered as ZIP files.
A ZIP file must be extracted (unzipped) before its contents can be used.
Most modern computers include built-in ZIP extraction tools.
After extracting the ZIP file, open the newly created folder to access the course files.
How Do I Open an MP4 Video?
MP4 is a common video format used by many Start ASL downloads.
Most computers and mobile devices can play MP4 files automatically.
If needed, you may install a compatible video player such as:

Can I Move or Rename Downloaded Files?

Prior to April 2026, downloadable products such as the Offline Course, Student E-Guides, Teacher's Curriculum, and other digital resources were delivered through our previous platform.
As part of our transition to a new learning platform, some customers may no longer be able to access downloads through their original account.
If you purchased downloadable materials before April 2026 and need access to them again, please contact us and provide:
A copy of your purchase receipt, or
Your order confirmation email
If you cannot locate your receipt, please provide as much information as possible, including:
The name used for the purchase
The email address used for the purchase
The product purchased
The approximate purchase date
Once we verify your purchase, we will provide instructions for accessing your downloads.
