How Do I Manage My Subscription?
Instructions depend on which platform you are using.
New Platform Students (Enrolled April 2026 or Later)
To manage your subscription:
Log in to your account. https://login.startasl.com
Visit your Account page. https://learn.startasl.com/account
Review and manage your active subscriptions and payment information.
From your account, you can:
View active subscriptions
Update payment methods
View billing information
Review purchase history
Legacy Platform Students (Enrolled Before April 2026)
To manage your subscription:
Log in to your account. https://login.startasl.com
Visit your Account page. https://www.startasl.com/my-account/
Open the Subscriptions section.
Select the subscription you would like to manage.
From there you can review your subscription details and billing information.
How Do I Cancel My Subscription?
Subscription cancellation options are available through your account.
After cancellation:
Your subscription will not renew.
You will retain access through the end of your current billing period.
No additional subscription payments will be charged unless you reactivate or purchase a new subscription.
How Do I Update My Payment Method?
Payment methods can be updated through your account's billing or subscription management area.
Changes may include:
Credit card updates
Expired card replacement
Billing information updates
How Do I Switch to a Different Subscription Option?
If you would like to switch to a different course option, a member of our team may need to assist with the transition.
Examples include:
Online Self-Study to Online Guided
Online Guided to Online Self-Study
Transitioning from a Legacy Platform subscription to a New Platform option
Some transitions may qualify for special pricing adjustments or prorated credits depending on your current enrollment.
Switching from the Legacy Platform to the New Platform
Start ASL launched a new learning platform in April 2026 with:
Improved course organization
Better progress tracking
Enhanced quizzes and activities
Online Guided support options
Practice Sessions
Office Hours
Students currently enrolled in Legacy Platform subscriptions may be eligible to transition to the new platform.
Important:
Legacy course progress does not transfer to the new platform.
Most students are encouraged to complete their current course level before switching.

What Happens When My Subscription Expires?
When a subscription expires:
Access to subscription-based course content ends.
Certificates, grades, and course records remain associated with your account.
Continuing access generally requires a new enrollment or active subscription.
If you are a Legacy Platform student whose subscription has expired, you may need to enroll in one of the current Start ASL course options to continue learning.
Can I Purchase a Course Without a Subscription?
Yes.
Some Start ASL products are available as:

Will I Lose Access Immediately If I Cancel?
No.
Cancellation stops future renewals, but access typically remains available through the end of the current billing period.
Can I Reactivate My Subscription Later?

Can I Switch From Online Self-Study to Online Guided?
In many cases, yes. However, coursework is not transferred between these two course types.

Can I Switch From the Legacy Platform to the New Platform?
Yes.
Many Legacy Platform students choose to transition to the new platform.
Before switching, be aware that course progress does not transfer between platforms.
For most students, completing the current course level before switching is recommended.
We may be able to provide a prorated credit to allow you to switch before your legacy subscription expires.
Why Can't I See My Subscription?
Subscription management instructions differ between the Legacy Platform and the New Platform.
If you are unable to locate your subscription information, additional account review may be required.
